Welcome to Dairy Dip Diner, where we proudly carry on an Arkansas 50s-style diner tradition in both Mulberry and Van Buren. Family-owned and operated, with a generous helping of southern hospitality.
How it happened
From a window to two diners

1952
A carry-out window in Mulberry
The Reynolds family open the Dairy Dip on Highway 64 as a carry-out only stand. Burgers, cones and not much room to sit.

60s–90s
A dining room, then a game room
As word gets around, an east-side dining room goes on, then a west-side gaming room. The 50s decor piles up one record and one photo at a time.

2000
More seats
The gaming room becomes more dining room. Locals, cross-country cruisers, politicians, celebrities and the Governor of Arkansas all pull up a red chair.

2019
Van Buren
Now owned by Nathan Hunter, Dairy Dip opens a second diner on Alma Highway. It becomes the town hub: teenage romances, engagements, birth announcements, contract signings, championship dinners.

Still family, still 7 to 8
Two diners, one menu, world-class burgers, southern dinners, shakes and malts. Our customers and employees are family, and we plan on being here for the next 60 years.
